          Mission

Today's current health care treats the diagnosis not the person. Often missing crucial pieces rendering care inefficient and expensive. My  goal is to partner with  the whole person with one on one care with a focus on giving you control back over your health in a convenient, efficient and cost effective way, empathetically guiding clients to re-envision your own wellness journey, empowering you to trust your own personal process and to supporting you to find joy and success in your own journey  without judgement.

About Kelly

Kelly earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Florida in 2002.  Early on in her career, she had the opportunity to work with athletes of all levels while also pursuing certifications in both Strength and Conditioning and Performance Enhancement.

Later on in her career, she was able to translate her experience and success with athletes to patients of all ages and abilities.  She believes anyone at any age can benefit from getting moving.

She continued her love of learning by becoming certified in the management of TMJ and headache conditions as well as in modern strength training.  She has found a love of working with runners and helping them do what they love to do. Kelly's latest venture is to become a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, with the goal of helping all women achieve their health goals, including runners who may struggle after having a baby.

Working with these populations Kelly realized a missing component of our health care system- remembering the individual. She believes you must take into account an individual's situation, personal preferences, values, goals and barriers to success to make a change. Kelly became certified as a Health Coach to explore this belief more. She has melded health coaching into her physical therapy practice as well as working with clients strictly on health goals outside of PT.  Kelly couldn't find one course or certification path that truly encompassed all aspects of health so she created her own path. Pursuing coursework in all areas of health- adding to her strong background in exercise and fitness, and the "psychology" of change with her health coaching and behavior change specialist certifications Kelly pursued  a Sleep and Recovery Coaching Certification,  Harvard Chef Cooking coach level 1, and is working towards a nutrition certification.

Her ultimate philosophy is to guide patients to find their own vision of health and wellness and develop a path to making that vision a reality.
